I said years ago that Maplin is unsustainable; their prices are 10% - 20% higher than online and their core customers are tech / computer users who are invariably comfortable with online shopping. I've gone into Maplin to browse loads of times, test out the feel of keyboards etc, then literally stood in the shop and ordered it from somewhere else online on my phone
