Maybe? Melee was released in 2001 and Brawl was announced in 2005... even if production hadn't even started
That said we only got an announcement for the Wii u and 3ds games in 2013, 5 years after brawl
If We are to get a new smash, I'm sure at the latest itd be released next year. That said there's so much content that I believe sm4sh could be the last game of the series
