..it says in the article that the airline accepts full responsibility...which is no comfort atm, I know...this is just so sad and tragic.....and ‘preventability’ always adds another layer to that because this sad loss of life could have been prevented...

...all of the ‘if onlys’ so many people must be feeling.....if only the correctly sized travelling box/cage had been used and the pup was under the seat...if only the attendant hadn’t demanded and enforced something that was obvious in its danger to the pup...if only all on the flight had realised how weakened the ‘voice’ was becoming before all fell silent......so many if onlys must be felt by so many people right now...it’s all heart-breaking...I really feel for the flight attendant as well because their if onlys will be so difficult to live with...I’m not sure if I could live with something like that...the distress of the mother and the children and all on the flight, just awful and so sad for all...awful...
