Duh.
And the one currently in my lap is toasty and warm and purring like a motorbike so hardly cold or aloof.
I like all animals and I would have said I was a dog person, it was my son who likes cats but I ended up mothering them. They are all characters and with a dog they pack and are loyal and faithful, with a cat they aren't so if they do like you it's kind of an honour!
All mine are rescued and have their own story. The only boy is a big soppy teddy bear. His sister is pure white and is an absolute princess. The plump tabby like her grub and is the smartest cat I've ever had, she's really really clever. I think she's going to start talking to me any day now. The little one was found abandoned in a cage when she was about six months old and someone was going to drown her because she couldn't find a shelter that wasn't full so I took her and is tiny for an adult cat. I think she might have been a real runt of the litter. What she doesn't have in size she makes up for in personality. She's the boss.
