I don’t like the term ‘religion’ to be honest; it’s in fact that central idea I disagree with. Automatically it separates different beliefs and ways of life rather than strengthening the links and going by what is common between them. For some people, it is these clashes and the view that they as people are doing what’s right as opposed to other people, which is what causes problems. Instead, it’d be better to seek out the good qualities. That is why I prefer to say ‘way of life’ or general ‘belief’ rather than religion... it’s a lot more open-minded, in my opinion.
