This is an odd one because it's not the cloth on head but the teaching behind it that a woman is not modest unless she covers her hair, that her hair is somehow wanton. In which case isn't a beauty pageant wanton and immodest since it's about women's beauty and parading around to be admired?
So isn't that some sort of contradiction to the point of wearing the covering at all? I wonder how they do the swimsuit section.
