I tried to add/edit an extra paragraph before anyone else posted but it seems I was too late lol...but it wasn't anything too exciting.
Question is, if there is some form of spirit, scientists would want to know how not only that spirit gained powers of such magnitude, but how it actually uses them.
They'd also want to know if there are any more spirits with the same capabilities? And what created the spirit in the first place? And if it was the very thing that started creating everything originally...then im sure they'd have a difficult time trying to fathom how something came to be, without actually coming to be [as in it's here, but it wasn't created from anything.]
The very idea of something that wasn't "made" sounds ridiculous, yet it's inevitable somewhere down the line, and not one of us can possibly get our heads around how it could be here.
The worst thing is I don't see anybody finding the answers unless something came along and told us, and educated us on the matter. Which is seeming rather unlikely after all this time.
I personally believe gods and spirits is about the most extreme thing we can possibly devise in our minds for an explanation...when the truth of the matter is it's more likely that however things came to be is beyond the mere thinking of humankind sitting out in the middle of the universe leading there lives and debating the matter all day long, because we simply haven't got the power to create a universe and beyond, so how would we know what goes into the process? There's an explanation that's so detailed, so complicated that we can't just manage to think of it...and literally would have to be told in order to think "Ah, that makes sense..so that's how everything came to exist"
Science does have a hold on most things...
Which is why even if something magical and currently beyond our so called laws of science did exist, that there would still have to be an explanation as to how it can do those things. Eg. does it just magic them up by thinking it? if so, what actually enables its thoughts to take physical form? etc.
