Default Big Brother Star\'s Wealthy Lover

Quote:
BIG BROTHER runner-up Jason Cowan is dating a beautiful millionaire businesswoman.

Muscle-bound Jason, 30, was introduced to blonde Kay Hammond, 27, by a mutual friend a few days after he left the Big Brother house.

She is the woman who tried to auction her hand in marriage over the internet for £1million - but didn't get any takers.

Now wealthy Kay, who has been running a successful web design firm since she was 17, admits she and Jason are very close.

And friends say she is smitten with the posing, thong-clad Scot who claims to have slept with 250 women.

A friend said: "Kay has fallen head-over-heels for Jason. It's early days - but he could be the one." Kay, who lives alone in a six-bedroom mansion in Birmingham, will next month feature on BBC TV's Crisis Command, in which she and two other pretend government ministers are given control of the country in a mock crisis.

She said last night: "We met through mutual friends in London after he left Big Brother. He's fantastic, I can't say a bad word about him. The media has a different opinion, but he's lovely. I have really high standards as I've grown older and any man I go out with has to be perfect."

And she admitted: "I'd love to get married and have children. I want at least six running around my house." Kay has been spending a lot of time in London, where Jason has been partying since the show ended instead of returning to Hamilton, Lanarkshire.

As well as running her business, Kay is a young business mentor for the Prince's Trust.

But she has struggled on the romance front. In 2002, she tried to find a man to marry over the internet. She denied it was a stunt - insisting she was trying to prove internet romance could lead to true happiness.

But no suitor was prepared to come up with the £1million dowry she was asking for.

The closest offer was £250,000 ...from a man who turned out to be a hoaxer.
