I just want to say for my own sanity that if the Canada saves wasn't used this week, Ryan would've gone home.
Then Derek, we assume, would've still won HOH and like Kaela would've put Erica. Assuming she didn't win POV, the Canada saves would've saved Erica letting her play another week
at least and she'd at least be able to say she was Juror #2 (like she should've been now if there wasn't a Jury decrease
)

Then you can go further outside the field of things we know for definite, or can knowledgably assume, and say that this caused Erica to be more determined to win HOH and get one of Daela out to cover her back. And even if she didn't and was out up, she probably could've won POV and continued to the following week (unless there was a backdoored making her Juror #3 - still great).
This is just a classic example of how the producers have given all of the right twists, at all of the wrong times.
