Housemates appeared to have failed this week’s shopping task – the fourth shopping task fail in a row. A vote on the Big Brother website decided the outcome however when lines closed this evening at 7pm the video only had a 47% approval rating, below the 50% or more required.

Nearly 12,000 viewers logged onto the Big Brother website to voice their views as the housemates formed mini versions of boy band Take That and girl band Girls Aloud.

There were however claims of cheating in the voting with one commenter on the website saying:

I dont think they should let this count, if no one liked it where are the negative comments? Probably some geek loser set up a bot to spam vote boo.

As yet the outcome of the shopping task has not been officially confirmed.
