siavash says he's an arab, he actually said i'm iranian and iranian/arabian is the same thing. this is a very strange thing for an iranian to say because they are not arabs they are persians and it is a big deal to them, so is he really from iran or is he really from somewhere like slough.

i think he was just generalising because of the general ignorance of people in that house a la Karly thinking that the german language only formed 70 years ago...

Saying Iranian/Arab is Similar to saying British/Scotish. he basically means he has Arab background, however he is an Iranian citizen.

Iran has alot of different groups of people living in it (like many other counrteis), like Kords, Turks and Arabs, however the majority (about 60%) are Persians.

I remember this, at the start of the conversation I thought I had totally misjudged her intelligence, when she said she knew some German and how it evolved, then destroyed the illusion saying it was similar to English because it had to be when Germany colonised Britain hilarious but scary ignorance
