"Most of the housemates have loved their messages, but none has been as vocal about it as David. In fact, David is the happiest happy person in all of Happytown. And Big Brother is now undoubtedly his favourite person in the world (joint-first with Vivienne Westwood).

"Hello fella!" he said, bouding into the Diary Room like a well-pleased puppy. "Just thought I'd come in to say a big thanks. It's meant a lot to me that - it really has touched my heart. I can't thank you enough. It were almost as if they were stood there talking to me. It makes you remember what it's all about. It were really emotional for everybody."

"Big Brother is glad you're happy David," Big Brother said graciously. "You mentioned previously that you came in for the experience of a lifetime. Do you think you're having it?"

"Absolutely," said David firmly. "It's been the best five weeks of my life. Words can't describe my experience. There's not gonna be a day when I'm not gonna look back on this experience. I never want it to end. I could do it for a year, it wouldn't bother me. I guess I feel how you must feel when you come to work."

Yes, Big Brother loves his job.

David's mind then turned to his newfound love for Bea, which has blossomed quite unexpectedly. The pair spent their first few weeks in the House fighting and badmouthing each other.

"I feel a lot closer to Bea," he told Big Brother. "When I look back on how we reacted to each other before it's quite pathetic actually. I've got a lot of time for her. Since Freddie's been evicted, I think it's given her confidence. It's almost like she's coming out of her shell. It were almost as if he were pulling her down. She's been a lot more fun, being enthusiastic, having a laugh."

Out of her shell? Is he talking about the same Bea?

"She's a lovely girl. I'm not going to slag her off any more," he decided. "She said to me she said some stuff she feels guilty about in the Diary Room, but I'm not going to hold that against her. We've moved on a hell of a lot."

David, maybe you should wait to see what she actually said before you make any hasty decisions..."
