She doesn't want to learn anything - the truth might be uncomfortable for her.

Now we are getting to be reminded of what she was really like at the beginning of the show.

The nice quiet Lisa who sits by the bus stop and chats to David is suddenly disappearing and being replaced with her true unpleasant character.

This could be good news. The public had forgotten how nasty she was.

Now we will see her for what she is really like.
