Default Woman shoots husband to protect her cat!


A woman from Houston, Texas has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she shot her husband for threatening her cat.

Audrey Deen Miller, 42, and her husband were having an argument in their home at Harris County when her husband threatened to shoot his wife's cat with a pellet gun.

In a bid to protect her cat, Miller pulled out a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun and shot her husband in the stomach.

The victim was treated at the local hospital before being released.

Assistant chief Mark Herman told KHOU.com: "The husband was trying to do something to the cat, and the wife was just trying to protect her cat."

According to reports, there had been no previous incidents involving the couple. The cat was not harmed during the incident.

Not that strange IMO. A lot of people sort of see pets as family members.

I beat someone up when I was about 15 for kicking my dog (for no reason) when I had her out for a walk.
