The decline of Imogen and Mikey's friendship has been rapid. Just yesterday they were huggy-fluffy, pally-wally, today they've gone all bitchy-snidey, shouty-pouty. It's ace.
After witnessing their wishy-washy hugathon for the past 10 weeks, we were alarmed and excited by their bitter slanging match in the garden this afternoon. Frankly, we didn't think they had it in them. The row revolved around Imogen's use of the phrase "everyone's entitled to an opinion" in relation to some minor squabble Mikey had with Glyn. But that dwindled into insignificance as the argument became increasingly personal. "It was out of order," said Mikey. "I was just saying everyone has an opinion, how is that out of order?" replied Imogen. It prompted the Scouser to ramp things up a notch, blasting: "Because you're chatting bulls*** all the time and trying to look good." Imogen was stunned and offended, retorting: "No I'm not! What's the point of trying to look good on TV after 10 weeks?" But Mikey became dismissive, saying: "I don't want to talk to you anymore. I don't want to know. " Imogen still looked shocked by the assault as Mikey added: "I know what you're like. You come out with snidey comments." This fired her into action and she snapped: "You don't let anyone express their opinion, you think you're right about everything." "Just forget about it," said Mikey, walking away. "You forget about it," snapped back Imogen, also walking away. Mikey headed to the Diary Room, where he found a sign on the keypad that read "Out of Order," confirming that Automated Big Brother is having technical difficulties. It's not the only one. |
