Default why I liked Sallie

She was very in your face and pretty exciting sure but what I genuinely liked about her was that you always pretty much knew how she was feeling in any given moment. She was very good at expressing herself..sometimes for good, and other times for bad.

I thought when she was trying to say how she was an 'honest' person what she really meant was that she was honest about her feelings and wore her 'heart on her sleeve' as they say..She perhaps has a very high emotional intellegence, probably coupled with a very low self esteem which obviously didn't mix too well together.

What did you like/dislike most about Sallie?

as much as you want to give someone a chance, she was one of the most disgusting housemates of all time, a female and a mother!

I loved her in the house because she was great entertainment BUT there is a huge difference between being 'real and honest' and being rude. Sallie was just rude to everyone and backed it up with 'at least I'm real'. Her attitude towards Michael was disgusting in the interview - just nasty! I'd never act that way on tv if my child may later see it!

I liked Sallie, Fruit_Cake, because she made the house feel alive. There were about 3 times during Emma's interview when I was pleading with Emma to say "since Michael is out, you're back in!" Like Charley in BB8. With the Lies/Secrets theme, I was hoping.

Anyway, yes, Sallie wasn't the most outstanding individual, but she was fairly true, and her interview helped that. When Michael was brought on-stage, it got a bit Jerry Springer. Didn't care for that.

Whatever though, the show must go on. Toss another mole in, unless they've already got one they never told us aboot.

Yes I do agree, the only thing for me was that despite all of Sallie's faults I guess I'd probably have felt comfortable with her as a friend in the house, which I guess is probably not the same for you

haha yeah that would've been great, Sallie was clearly quite shocked to be evicted..Sallie back in would've been a great twist!

..I don’t think we knew what she was feeling/thinking any more than any of the other housemates, other than the fact that she became quite spiteful when things didn’t go her way...I could understand her anger in certain things but the spite was quite revealing of her character for me because it seemed like an ‘instinct’ thing... it’s easy to be ‘nice’ to people you like/agree with you etc but it’s how you handle situations with people who you don’t have those feelings for that makes BB interesting and also helps us to see the characters of the HMs...she admitted that her behaviour had been based on a vote to save in which she felt fairly safe, so therefore wasn’t ‘real’ at all or over exaggerated...I never understand this support of unpleasant behaviour being described as ‘real’....so to be real, you have to be unpleasant/rude/argumentative etc..?...otherwise you’re not being yourself...?...that seems to be a lot of public opinion...I don’t think there are any ‘real’ housemates in BB anymore, I don’t think there has been for quite a while..for me it’s just whether their game plans entertain me and I don’t find them offensive or hurtful to other housemates...that was one of the great things about Arron..he was a master of what he did and he didn’t feel that he had to be loud/unpleasant to do it.....

'very high emotional intelligence, probably coupled with a very low self esteem'

I thought the exact opposite, she was rude and narcissistic passing her rudeness off as 'honest and real' and going on the attack at any sign of negative responses aimed at her behaviour.
Displaying her undercarriage was the most telling thing she did for me, she was determined to dominate the house and like an animal that's how she warned the HM's 'I'm alpha female, fear me'.

Yeh I prefer the more honest, and most of them look quite boring. She got screwed over as well, evicted without a proper nominations process.

She got along with people in the house too, and others were rude. Others just keep quiet even if they actually want to speak out, and now they know it's vote to evict you will get even more of that and an even more boring show.

Sallie was not rude to 'everyone' that's a huge over exagerration and distortion of the facts. She wasn't rude to any of Wolfy, Dan, Hazel, Daley, Charlie, Jack, Joe, Jackie, Sam, Sophie or Callum.. which only leaves Dexter, Gina and Michael.

She wore her heart on her sleeve, I might not agree with a lot of what she did, but for me she'll go down as a BB legend because of this.

I liked her too.

Like black people in the 90's used to say... don't hate the player, hate the game.

She didn't like them, they were her hangers on, and wholly dispensable if and when they incurred her wrath.

Ok maybe the word 'everyone' is an exxageration. However given her childish behaviour and apparent lack of thinking before speaking, I wouldn't be surprised if she was rude to others in the house - it just wasn't shown (like her more positive traits werent shown perhaps). She was rude to Emma IMO and the audience in her interview which is obviously due to her adrenaline and shock etc but a respectful adult should be able to handle those emotions better. I'm not sure I agree completely with 'heart on her sleeve' though although I can definitely see your point and agree to an extent. She said her nickname was Me Me at school which to me shows that she wants the attention and focus on her (which we saw) regardless of how she goes about it.

Pretty much my take on her too fruit_cake, I do think she is a BB legend, as one who shouldn't have gone in the early stages, I was way wrong last year when Lydia went, she went way too early too.

As you point out she wasn't rude to the vast majority of housemates and really to be fair to her, she also resolved the bad issues with Gina and they settled all down, becoming probable friends.
The house will for me, for a while, be the worse off now she is gone.

Sallie is an attention seeking dog... she needs to think before she speaks. There is being honest and theres being honest to the point of rudeness. She so loves the fact that she says it as it is unyet does not respect those traits in others.
Hopefully the impact will hit her hard...but I doubt it...she will find an excuse for her behaviour and an excuse of bad editing.
Having said that she was a great housemate as I love watching people dig holes for themselves and she was entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

What I liked about Sallie?

Hmm... I think she was fearless, I think that's a great quality in a housemate. She seemed to be fully aware of how to make the most of her BB experience, and to possibly raise her profile so that things would be financially easier for her and her child outside of the house.

She spotted that Michael was an actor. Although it was only on BTOS that she seemed to be able to separate him from the job he done. In a way I imagine being out first was a massive blow to her ego, and she was still hurting for the whole of the interview with Emma, and having Michael sit beside her then seemed like rubbing salt in her wound.

Her clips at the end were way more interesting than some have after weeks in the house.

She did seem like good fun and I think she's probably the biggest character I can remember being voted out first in a reality tv show.

I couldn't stand her!

Rude, ignorant, arrogant, spiteful, loud, obnoxious & just generally vile inside & out... Good riddance
