The Big Brother 2014 ‘Power of Money’ twist will conclude later today with an all-or-nothing endgame, in which housemates could lose their £25,000 prize fund bonus.
Yesterday a two-day task begun, with the group facing various challenges to win extra money for the winner’s jackpot.
Currently they’ve racked up an extra £10,500, with £10,000 added when Chris was put up for eviction, before some housemates won £500 by drinking a stinky tofu cocktail.
However, what they don’t know is that these challenges count for nothing, and that the outcome of the entire task will lie on the shoulders of one housemate.
This evening, housemates will be called to the Diary Room one at a time and asked whether they want to take the extra money for themselves, or add it to the prize fund.
The final housemate called will be the one voted the ‘best judge of character’ by viewers in a poll conducted on the show’s official app earlier today. This person must guess which of the housemates decided to pocket the money.
If they are accurate in their predictions, Big Brother will increase the prize fund to £125,000. However, if they fail, all the extra money that’s been banked will be lost, and the winner of the series will take home the usual £100,000.
