Who does Michelle think she is? She has been talking all about standing up for the misfit, the gays all of her life but I haven't seen any of that in the house. If she really gave two ****es about anything else other than winning the adoration of the (seemingly gullible) British public then she might have stuck up for Perez's right to be included in the house and found a way to bring him into the fold. This, to me, is clearly not who Michelle is at heart. I'm really disappointed in her.
As for Perez, to be honest, he did come in to the house with a plan. Unfortunately for him somewhere along the line everything went a bit sideways. I don't think he deserves to be isolated in the house, he may be annoying and attention-seeking, but he is on a television show and that is exactly the type of personality you will attract. Plus Perez's whole career is about publicity. As someone that followed him before he got "big," he definitely enhanced his own career by using these kinds of dramatics. I know a lot of people like Perez and that type of attention-seeking behavior is pretty common (and rewarded) in our culture, obviously. And for my background, I'm a gay American who has followed Michelle for almost 6 years on RuPaul's Drag Race. I've been a fan of Michelle's for 6 years, I've always liked her and enjoyed her as a judge on that show and I also follow her on social media. Unfortunately, her appearance on BB has shown to me that there isn't much else to her, unless of course she has her say on the cutting room floor of RuPaul's studio. These are just some thoughts from a lurker over-the-pond. ![]() |

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm getting scared for British culture tbh, we fall for every production trick, and I now know that it's okay to bully people if they're unlikeable to you. And Michelle is a disgrace, she tries to manipulate young gay men into believing she's a messiah that's out to help them when there is no evidence of this, she hosts a Drag show (which is completely different to being gay to all the bigots out there) and claims on Social Media and on the show that she's for Gay rights and roots for the underdog. Yet she's attacked Perez on multiple occasions, and helped isolate him from the rest of the house, she again helped isolate Alicia from the rest of the house, she never defended Nadia when she was getting stick from the rest of the house due to speaking to Perez, and while most of you will laugh at me for this but Ken was clearly isolated in the house, did she ever defend him? No. She also seems to have homophobic tendencies herself tbh with wanting Perez to conform to what she wants gay people to be, referring to gay people as “the gays” and of course “I'm friends with you Kavana because of that gay thing.”

Thanks for the comments. Michelle continues to hide behind the gay community and Katie Hopkins. At first I thought she may be being strategically close to KH but she kind of kept it up throughout and became her lackey. Michelle, if you are speaking for the gay community, then I'm disappointed in you, and I'm also not your father.

Michelle for me is false now, she is also too firmly in Katie Hopkins pocket, she hints at not agreeing with Katie H. when talking to the others, including to Perez.
To Katie Hopkins face however she come across as mostly sucking up to her. She's false, I wouldn't trust Michelle in there and hope she goes on wednesday, not that it matters really now with only 3 days left anyway. |

Good to hear from you Ndimoro. I couldn't believe it when she suggested the UK gay community needed someone like her!. She really is the last thing they need.
I was so excited about Michelle coming in the house and I am dissapointed to see she's nothing more than Katie Hopkins sock puppet. An incredibly weak willed woman who needs to grow her own backbone.

a difference in attitudes towards Gay people/drag artists in America. Speaking as straight woman with a gay nephew and friends I find Michelles need to constantly speak on there behalf of gay people unnecessary as the ones I know can speak up for themselves. As for drag Artists, not all of them are gay. Also here in Britain we have a long history of men dressing as women in public. Eg Shakespeare writing at a time when women werent allowed to act, so female roles were played by men. I work in the English dept, at a well known university. There are other areas of the entertainment industry where its the norm eg pantomime. For most Brits its not that bigger deal, were used to it. Sorry for going of topic, but I think that Michelle perhaps didnt do enough homework. I am also sorry that she has fallen into Katie Hopkins grasp, a women I really cant stand ![]() |

michelle absolutely represents the gay community, far more than Perez at least. perez can't even get laid, he is repulsive to gay men.

Michelle represents the gay community as much as I represent ginger-haired people.

I will never ever have time for people who seriously think that Perez was an innocent victim in the entirety of CBB with all desire to integrate with the house and/or show any interest in the other housemates, and seriously, equating him with the sort of misfit/outcast Michelle spoke about for about 15 seconds in a VT? Laughable.
You can't exactly say Perez is an outcast and identify Perez as a gameplaying antagonist in the same post. It doesn't really work.

Perez never claimed to represent the gay community. Michelle did. As I said before the irony is Perez has been more of a drag queen on the show than Michille has and Michelle has been more of the conservative log cabin republican. Log cabin republicans find the drag community to be a disgrace to gays. Drag queens are often over the top and unapologetic about their behaviour. how else would a racist and toxic drag queen like Sharon Needles represent Rupauls drag race. As drag race has become more mainstream so has the attitude of those involved in the drag race brand. They want to make drag accessible to the mainstream. Perez represents the past, the over the top, loud queens of the world. I'm not saying Perez is a good person nor Michelle a bad one. She just needs to stop the rainbow flag waving and preaching yo the choir. One could easily say that Cami Li or Perez for that matter is a disgrace to the Latino community. Geeze Michelle has let me down.
