you could probably walk again three months ago but was ordered to keep ya gob zipped up and save it for a more crucial time in Gemmas career when it would benefit her the most.
What I particularly found so touching about that scene was the overwhelming display of genuine warmth from Gemma and her full understanding of the gravitas of what was being said....that's why she cut her mother off mid sentence to tell her to organise a party FOR HER...oh the irony.....you couldn't make it up....oh actually, she probably just did
