North Korea is reportedly weighing missile strikes on Guam, a warning that comes hours after President Trump vowed “fire, fury and frankly power” against Pyongyang should it threaten the United States.
Reuters, citing state media, reported that a military spokesman said it would conduct the strikes should the United States provoke North Korea.
Trump earlier Tuesday urged Pyongyang not to make “any more threats” against the U.S.
“He has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before,” Trump said in Bedminster, New Jersey.
North Korea has in the past threatened the United States and vowed to turn its neighbor, South Korea, into "a sea of fire."
The latest threat also comes one day after North Korea’s foreign minister reportedly said the nation would use nuclear weapons on the U.S. should it aggravate a response from Pyongyang.
Officials in the Trump administration have recently been talking tough on North Korea, with some suggesting their patience is wearing thing.
North Korea last month conducted two intercontinental ballistic missile tests and has launched multiple missile tests this year.

I know they always threaten it, but after Trump's comments, I feel as though this isn't an empty threat.
