Edit: just checked online and it is a 90 minute show. Still though at the 8:30 start to accommodate mob which is getting a million less viewers.

Yes but then we only had 5 channels of tv - unless you had sky - back in the early 2000's most didnt.
- and no catch up - crappy dial up internet that was really slow - no streaming. People forget, so we all used to watch similar programes - everyone watched eastenders back then and they dont now - there is so much more choice - nothing gets 4mil viewers now unless is something epic like Game Of Thrones
