realistically do we really need an All Stars season considering they already cast all the best ones for S5 and 6-7 were terrible?

Agree - can't really think of anyone I particularly want from the last two seasons to watch again. Hoping it isn't All Stars or a 50/50 season like S5, but must say although auditions were held for this season they didn't seem to make as big a deal about it as previously.

Not a fan of a larger cast either if the series is still only 10 weeks long - indeed if anything they've had 2-3 too many each season anyway and would actually benefit from stripping it down to 12-13 HGs as the early US series had when they only ran 10-11 weeks.

Hopefully this season will be better than the last two. 6, and in particular 7 were two of the poorest seasons of the US format history. The casting needs to improve for sure.

It's too early for an All Stars Season. But maybe they sense that end for the franchise in Canada might be near and want to end it on a high?

The Canada version gets ruined with twists that change the game too unfairly imo.

If the production had've just let the show flow more naturally (and only interfere when absolutely necessary) then I don't think that the end would be near as you put it.

I agree with you that the All Stars season is too soon, especially considering that some former Housemates were in the year that Karen was on.

I’m also thinking that it’s gonna be longer than past seasons, which have been 10 weeks (BBCAN4 was 11 weeks).
