Liam in £100,000 shocker

BIG Brother sprang the biggest surprise of the series last night, ordering this week’s eviction nominees to pick one lucky housemate to win a £100,000 prize.

Carole Vincent, 53, Seany O’Kane, 25 and Jonathan Durden, 49, were called to the Diary Room to be told of the shock twist.

They were ordered to pick one housemate who would be given £100,000 to be transferred directly into his or her private bank account.

They chose Liam.

The sum is the same as that on offer for the overall winner – and the trio were NOT told that the sum was an extra prize on top.

They were given just a few minutes to decide who they felt was worthy of
getting the cash.

A show insider said: “This is a massive stunt for Big Brother to pull so early in the competition.

“This lot have proved they are all in it for the money, so it is likely to drive a wedge between them all – and the one who gets picked to win it could well find themselves nominated for eviction next week.

“The rest won’t want someone who has already won a pot of cash to have another chance at swelling their bank balance.

“Seany, Carole and Jonathan all had their favourites in the house. Liam was their man.”
