Poplar fire - Block of flats
Breaking Story:
125 firefighters and 15 fire engines have been called to a fire at a tower block in East London.
London Fire Brigade are currently at the scene on Fairmount Avenue in Poplar at around 9am this morning (Friday, May 7).
Pictures and videos circulating on Twitter show the blaze several stories high, with smoke rising into the air.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade Tweeted: "Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters have been called to a fire on Fairmont Avenue in Poplar. More information to follow."
