Yeah... that logic won't fly with me. I've had too much experience in my life both living and dealing with people who have had a myriad of mental and physical health issues but who can treat people just as horribly as those who don't have any diagnosed/self-diagnosed issues that fit a criterion.

All people are perfectly capable of being people. And people have been known to do all kinds of things in this life.

I don't hold any kind of a bias towards Ali being diagnosed, but just the same, I don't expect her to meet some kind of standard. If anything, she's created her own set of high standards for herself, but it's not matching up with her behavior in the house for me.

If you check more carefully you will see that I haven’t liked everything Ali has said or done , I’ve admitted a few times that she could have handled things better/differently.

Thing is you cant criticise Ali for her every move / action whilst ignoring her condition .
Just because it is invisible doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

In any event, the point is that you try to justify her shitty behaviour with references to autism all the time, and yet the second someone takes note of that same shitty behaviour but frames it in a more positive and admiring light, suddenly you don't feel the need to hand out all these sermons on neurodivergent traits. Suddenly you're content to just go 'Fair point!' It seems obvious to me that she can do no wrong in your eyes.
