Don't know if it's been posted yet, but Madeleine McCann's mum Kate McCann is now a suspect in the case. Aparantly blood was found in her hire car, weeks after Madeleine's death. According to Sky News police suspect she may have accidently killed Madeleine and then in an attempt to cover it up, got rid of the body, then phoned the police and reported her disappearance. This story would explain the blood in the apartment, why the 'abducters' only took one of the 3 children, why the kidnapping happened to take place the night that they had not taken up the offer for free child care and were out away from the apartment with the apartment unlocked.

As per usual the British press seem to be behind Kate, even when it looks pretty obvious now that this was not an abduction.
