Default X Factor Audience

I think they should be banned.

The chanting, incessant booing whenever a judge makes a constructive criticism...

They're a pack of uneducated and absolute morons.

I think it should just be the contestants' families. Or, perhaps put all of them behind a screened wall...

I mean imagine being in Alisha/Hope's position tonight! Have they no respect!?

Its annoying when the judges are trying to talk. I like the support the crowd give whether the judges are right or wrong. I do think that they should tone it down a little. I don't mind the audience chanting when judges are making decisions as the audience are speaking on behalf of the GBP.

The crowd are really horrible, they don't respect the acts at all. If they were on the X Factor stage then I doubt they'd want the audience to be shouting crap at them. They were horrible tonight chanting 'Alisha' because they wanted her off the show.

Yeah, they really need to shut up during the announcing of who's leaving. Fine with who's going through, but when the bottom two have both performed, they need to be silent, otherwise they ruin it. It's also annoying when they interrupt the judges' comments.

I agree. This week and last week with the bottom 2 they've been horrible.

The studio audience in general this year are morons. When a judge says "Forget what the other judges say, the crowd loved you!" they cheer and join in like morons, regardless of whether the performance was actually crap or not.

Everytime a judge says anything bad in the slightest they boo, even if it's perfectly reasonable constructive criticism meant in the nicest way they boo. They really are idiots.

But of course, the worst thing is them booing one contestant and supporting the other in the bottom 2. I swear they must be the same lot that go to Big Brother. But at least Dermot tells them to shut up. *glares at Davina*

I got the impression they wanted Alisha to stay.

I didn't, Tom__, I thought they were chanting for her to leave as well. But that's the thing, you really can't tell what the audience are after when they're chanting.

I agree with Tom, because they booed when the judges voted for Hope to stay. And last week they chanted "Beverley!" and I think they wanted her to stay as well.

Big Brother nasty audience syndrome all over again.

It's getting boring now. The audiences are all behaving like Janice from "I'm a celebrity get me out of here".

The audience in general are complete cretins. However the judges, especially Louis, are always encouraging them. He's constantly saying "Forget what Simon says, the audience loved you and I'm sure the people at home loved you" - which results in the audience behaving like monkeys in a zoo, screaming and going nuts. Also their booing and hissing has become so bad, even at the slightest criticism, it's difficult to hear what the judges are saying. I think they should have "crowd tamers" armed with cattle prods.

The audience is so annoying, the judge's are there to give an opinion good or bad and the audience should respect the judge's. Dermot was annoyed last week when the judge's were voting who to go home and he had to tell the audience to be quiet.
