What went wrong?
For me it was their choice of housemates and the all girl twist. On BB7's launch night, the house was filled with 14 crazily unique personalities, with the potential to fill a million nights highlight shows to the brim with top class entertainment. In BB8's launch night the house was filled with 10 women, 2 of which were old stick in the muds, 3 of which were wannabes (or 5 if like me you believe the twins were fake) and a bunch of other forgettable people. In BB8 there were no men till 3 days in and then it was only 1. Prior to BB8, there had only been 2 (or 3, can't remember) female winners and the ones that provided all the best laughs were the men. So we were stuck for like a week with talk of make-up and men (boring) in BB7 apart from maybe Bonnie and George, all of the housemates were gold, from day 1 till their exits.
BB went from a series full of great people to a series full of rubbish ones.
For me, the housemates ruined BB8. If they'd have put in BB1, 2, 3, 5, 6 or 7's housemates, despite the sh*tty twists and stupid nomination messing it would have still been enjoyable.
Anyone agree?
Lets hope BB9 has some great personalities on launch night, like BB7 (the last good series) had. Although I don't think they could beat some of the housemates in that year.
