I thought I'd start a discussion thread, the first topic is something rather light. In many shows and films ETC it's considered a taboo to go out with a friend's ex. Do you think it is so? Have you ever been out with a friend's ex? Has a friend ever been out with yours? How would you feel about it?
I've never really got the big deal about this personally, I've had a friend go out with an ex before and I don't get why it's such a bad thing. If the relationship is over why should it matter? Give us your opinions. |

My friend went out with another friend's ex and it was a whole big thing
 , but me and most of my friends don't see it as a big deal

It depends who it is. I've done it before and never caused any problems- if they truly let go then they shouldn't mind. But a friend of mine did it to someone else and they stopped speaking, they hate each others guts now

Depends on how their relationship ended. If there was cheating, or if there were still bad feelings between the pair, then it's probably not a good idea. But if they're truly 'over' it, then it should be fine.

If they ended badly and no longer talk, then I wouldn't. If they're still good friends and neither mind, then I would. haha I sound like a bitch. |

Can one life be more important or Sacred then another? For example if there was a single Law abiding man with no family or friends and an ex criminal with a child and a partner and one of them had to die, would their status or history come into it? Discuss. |

I've been going out with a friend's ex before I've been in a 2 years relationship. It was fine because, with my closest friends, we said we will never argue over a girl, they're not worth our friendship. So it's fine and nobody ever moaned about it.
So yeah it's fine, it just depends on the context. |
