Kenneth's motivation for joining the show are apparently for the experience and hoping to cash in on him and Karly being a BB couple.

I'd say he's screwed up both considering she was evicted and he's looking to follow very quickly.


Kenneth has explained his reasons for entering the house, telling Bea that he wanted to help Karly become famous.

When Bea asked about his motivations for joining the show last night, he said: "In the first instance for the experience. In the second instance, the synergies that can be derived from the entity that would be me and Karly.

"As a joint 'two', we would be far more interesting to the press. She likes all that stuff, so I'm trying to help her out."

After he explained that he knew contacts to get Karly famous, Bea asked why he didn’t do that regardless of the show.

"I didn't really take her that seriously before," said Kenneth. "When she left me, that's when I realised how much she meant to me. When we rekindled things that's when she told me she was doing the show.

"She was expendable to me at one point," he said, before quickly adding: "I was lost when she left me."

Wasn't a member back when Kenob was posting...sorry Karlyashworth was posting but I couldn't help looking at some of the old posts made by that member and I could imagine Kenob's voice speaking them.

Also I bet 'the pill' conversation in the diary room was likely to be a coded message from Karly. "Pills out" = "pillock out".

Ken has gave Karly "fame" though. No one cared about her. Now because of Ken being a total tit, people are interested in Karly's side of things.

She must forever be grateful to the mighty Ken. He made her.

wow...not only does this show us what a gigantic twat this loser is, it also is a sad commentary on the current state of BB. Back in the day BB was for real people who went in the house because they wanted a life experience, or because they wanted to compete for money. Either way, it made for interesting and compelling TV.

That lasted up until about...2005. Since then most HMs have been desperately fame-seeking Z-listers looking to create 15 minutes of fame for themselves. The way Kenneth talks openly about exactly this confirms that BB is a dying brand unless production gets off their asses and puts some effort into finding real/genuine people, not just people designed to shock us or people who don't care about BB as a show, and who just want fame out of the experience.

It's unfortunate because I love Big Brother and the whole idea behind the show, but in recent years it's lost so much integrity, and I guess that point was hit home when this loser (Kenneth) entered the house and started talking about being a BB couple...

And also, to technically qualify as a BB couple, I believe you have to spend more than 30 minutes together in the house (see Mario and Lisa or Nicole and Rex for examples of this). Sorry Kenneth and Karly, you don't really make the cut as a genuine "BB couple".
