I wouldn't consider someone who was not loyal and honest to be a 'friend', I also wouldn't 'stalk' someone....if they're not interested you pick yourself up and move on.
With regards to the Markus/Siavash situation, If I were in Siavash's shoes I would have sat down with markus, had a chat and cleared the air before making a move.
But that's assuming that Siavash saw Markus as a friend in the first place.
