Default When/Why did you start watching Big Brother?

When and Why did you start watching Big Brother??

For me....

When: Near the end of BB5

Why: Because everyone else watched and it was on one night so I tuned in

I was watching from BB1, but for entirley different reasons. It was more like a social experiment and nothing like it had been done before... no one could belive that they would actually be filmed 24 hours a day.

BB5 was by far the best BB IMO...

Fight night, Victor, insane romance, clever tasks and the best HM ever.

I started watching end of BB3. I am an insomniac and it was something to watch at nights.

From the very first episode. It was a new idea (for me) I was intrigued and watched it through the series.

I never watched

BB2. Because I missed BB1 completely, and everyone at school was talking about it the day after the finale. I didn't have a clue what it even was about. So I tuned into BB2 when it started to see what the fuss was all about for myself.

Knew of it from 1, but my livie -in made me watch in all the time BB5. She gone, still here - I gamble lots on it so not a fan I guess - you'd call me a gambler :-(

Watched from the first year, mainly because of all the hype about it, something totally new!

Have watched every single year apart from BB4 which I gave up on after 2 weeks and BB8 because I just couldn't get into it.

BB5 was the best year ever, closely followed by BB6.

The very first episode in Series 1 (2000).

Watched them all, and the worst BB's have been BB8, BB4 and BB10 (in that order).

The rest have been actually quite enjoyable although BB2, BB3, BB5 and BB7 are my fave years.

I started watching a few weeks into the 1st series.

reason: My uncle kept telling me about some nasty man who was scheming and plotting against housemates and was rushing home to watch it.
I watched it and never missed a episode since.
I even watched every minute of live feed and lost my job one year as i was only getting 2hrs sleep average and sleeping in a electric cupboard(riser)

Same here I started to watch it because during the late nights I didn't have the internet and BB live feed kept me going through the summer nights. Also I do love the sociology of BB, how people react to certain situatons and also how the viewing public react to what is going on in the house

i started watching from bb1. i don't know why exactly, but i couldn't stop watching!! it will always be my favourite because it was so 'real' and innocent, but just great to watch!!

i don't watch celeb bb though. it's a bit boring. i watched the first one and didn't like it

From BB1, I was curious. Plus my parents didnt want me watching it, I was only 12

Didnt watch BB2 though as I discovered cider and was out with my mates all the time.

Then watched every one since BB3

Hey all! I just started watching a few days ago. I've watching the US big brother since season 1 and have been a total fanatic. I found the link only a few days ago to start watching BBUK online, and I've been hooked ever since. I watched every episode of BB10 in about 3 days. I don't have the links to watch any of the other seasons of BBUK, unfortunately, so it looks like this one is it for me. I love it though! Love Siavash!

Started halfway through BB1, (mostly) stuck with it ever since.
BB3 the obvious fave for me.
BB4 was forgettable.
BB5 was just ugly.
6 & 7 came and went.
BB8 was painful.
BB9 a massive improvement on previous few years.
BB10 could have a top 5 finish for me if it stays as mental.

Watched BB1, 2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10 I missed BB 8 cause of stupid Brian Belo nd those awful twins and bloody Charley, too many horrid people at once for me!

BB2 was my favourite, and Brian Dowling was brilliant.

Started from the beginning. Saw the very first episode of BB1. Still a fan although it's not as good as the first couple now because the HMs are more savvy and can predict what will happen a lot more.
