Default Are you easily influenced?

Do you allow others to influence your opinion. I doubt anyone will admit it, but it does happen time and time again.

1) A housemate will say something about another housemate.
2) The host's will say something about someone.
3) The show audience show a housemates popularity.
4) The people on forums giving their opinions about how good or how bad a particular housemate is.
5) The highlights shows editing.
6) The tabloids putting their mostly false spin on things.

Is it all these opinions that are thrust upon us that change our minds about a housemate? or did we not like them in the first place and jump on what someone has said to bring it to the forefront to try and encourage others to think the same?
If a popular housemate says something about another, ie. 'this one is a fake that one is a fake', suddenly there is a flow of forum mates saying the same. If an unpopular HM says something similar about someone, suddenly there is a flow of people on here complaining about them saying it.
With host's and audiences showing their like or dislike for a housemate. Do you find yourself liking HMs because many or someone you like has said it, or if you see a housemates popularity waining do you start to go off of them?
When the Highlights show somebody doing or not doing anything, do you stop to consider that the whole thing may have been completely taken out of context due to clever editing? I myself can only take what I actually hear or see someone say or do, and even then I weigh up the reasons why they have said or done something. I rarely form an opinion that I don't know the full story about.
Another thing I have noticed with FMs and voters is that when someone says or does something really nasty to another housemate, suddenly people have decided that they want the housemate who was wronged to win although they have not actually done anything to deserve the win. A good example is Rachell last year.
It doesn't make any difference to me what anyone else comes on here and says in complaint or praise for any housemate. I enjoy to discuss opinions but I know who I like and have my reasons and only the housemates his/herself can change my opinion.
I would be interested in other forum mates views on this.

Society is about influencing and manipulating. Fish against the stream dies in the river.

I think sometimes my opinions are influenced! but.. I was ALWAYS consistent about my favourite Freddie loved him since seeing his VT before he walked into the house. I just loved him as a person. As soon as he got cocky people turned on him and they are just traitors. No one is perfect and to be honest I admire him that the least he did to get back at Lisa etc.. was a be a bit cocky!

I watch what I can concerning BB, HL and LF and make up my own mind. Usually takes me a couple f weeks to decide who I like/dislike.

In the real world I read, use internet, watch the news a few different channels every day, so I would say my views are influenced by what I WANT them to be influenced by.

I wouldn't say I'm easily influenced at all tbh. I don't rush to buy the latest fad items, be that clothes, or shampoo or the latest gadget, just because I'm told by the media/advertising industry that I HAVE to have it. I like what I like and that's it.

When it comes to things like BB, I go with my gut instinct usually, which very rarely lets me down. This year on launch night I liked Freddie, Marcus and Siavash the best and they all turned out to be pretty genuine, decent, good hearted people. I don't let what Davina says, or what twist the HL show tries to put on something, or choose to show or not show, to sway me in my thinking.

On here I like the debate, but nothing and noone will make me suddenly change my mind on things. I tend to make my choices and then stick to my guns, follow things through to the end.

I hate to admit it but I am at times easily influenced.

I love reading articulate posts on any of the housemate, especially when they point of things I haven't notice.

And my opinions have been swayed and even shaped by a few people on this forum.

I wouldn't say that that is being easily influenced though, that means you have an open mind are willing to see other peoples points of view

I'm not easily influenced by anything BB has done. But they do annoy me when they keep messing about with the show!

I can't be ersed to go into the proofs and etc of the following statement:

It's obvious that Marcus supporters are the least easily influenced people around. Marcus supporters have insight and integrity like the great man himself. MARCUS was the LEAST easily influenced HM.

That does not necessarily mean that Marcus haters are easily influenced low IQ fools. But i think we can be fairly certain most of them are. The rest of them clearly have 'issues' that they need to work through.
