The stupid thing is that the more I think about it the more I start really liking the idea of David winning this and the more I start to wonder if he doesn't become something of a 'protest vote' and the more I wonder if a lot of vote-splitting doesn't open up with David running down the middle to win it all!

Not really. I wasn't that concerned with Lisa winning (her FTW does not mean 'for the win' in this case) and more championing her cause of sending Freddy and later Marcy home,
and,
was pleased she made it to the Final week,
but,
I have been saying all along that this is one series where there is nobody left I can especially cheer and hope for to get the win.
I don't even dislike models Sophie and Charlie (as long as separate from other models) and I don't dislike Rodrigo or Siavash (except his stupid damn stunts now),
but,
Is anyone really a 'BIG FAN' of anyone left?
It feels like most people I know don't really care which of them wins.
'One is as good as the other' seems the general feeling.
None of them are villains either. I wouldn't 'boo' or hate to see any of them win.
(although Siavash is getting on my last nerve with his idiot protest thing).

So it just makes me think maybe witless camp monster David is the only genuinely fun choice left?
It might be the only possible surprise winner I can choose.
and,
The more I think about it the more I see David as the best entertainment value win.

Look at it this way:
Nobody is surprised if any of the other 4 won it. Nobody. All 4 half-expect it. All the Ex-Hms outside would not be surprised,
but,
If a blubbering David came crumbling out as winner, smashing over lampstands and squealing tears.. ..oh man.. the look on everyones faces would be priceless!

So I dunno... the more I think about it the better and better a David 'surprise win' looks.

I have always liked Siavash and would be happy if he won,but I totally agree that it's hard to have any strong feelings on who should DEFINITELY win. The two housemates who I really wanted to win have left.
I don't mind David(even though his laugh irritates the hell out of me!),but I think he is the person left who would appreciate winning most. I think it would mean so much to him.
I can't vote as not in the UK,but if I could, I would vote for Siavash and give David a few votes too as I don't want him finishing fifth. I want Charlie to finish fifth.

David would have had a massive chance of winning, was he not a late comer, and had he not attatched himself to the thing that he attached himself too.

A couple of hours of footage of him without her has shown him to be a lovely, funny guy IMO.

I also think he would appreciate it the most out of the remaining HMs, as he is totally caught up in the BB experience, plus I believe he did just go on because he loves the show, rather than any other reason.

I know people will say that everyone is putting on a big act, faking nice etc but one thing I would give to Davids credit is that I think he is genuine. He is genuinely thrilled with the experience and sincerely happy as hell to get any place in anything,
and,
tbh I do not believe David has the capacity to put on an ingenious award-winning act or the attention span to sustain it for more than 3 seconds.

Also I have to credit him for one of the funniest moments in the series:
