Any and all acts born out of Disney. Any and all acts who claim to be 'punk' but care more about eyeliner than the content of there songs. Any act that has turned my IRISH 18 and 19 year old brothers and sisters into people who talk like characters from the Hills.

Dude.

Totally.

There should be a law whereby you need some musical training, the ability to play an instrument before you can have a hit record.

That just highlights who I want to see again.

I mean, imagine the charts filled with real musicians with a wide variety of instruments - imagine the effect on the youth. People really making their own music instead of karaoke singing dreams of X Factor.

I often think that some people just need to take music a little less serious, if its a decent tune/rhythm, then what does it matter who wrote it? Its a song... just enjoy it.

I do yes. I like pop music but I don't like the effect it has on impressionable youth.

Take for instance the music in films, orchestral that conveys emotion that we all respond to. Now, then we have kids saying, we don't like the classics but how can you not when it's embedded in the fabric of our culture.

It's these inbetween irrelevant triggers that are used by exploiting the term music that are unfortunate.
