Default Have the Labour Party ruined England

We haven't got as much unemployment as most of the world. One of the best manufacturing systems. Improved Welfare and working conditions. Support for the underpaid...

Are we ruined?

I don't think they have. God it used to be uber-crap under the Tories and the changes that have been made have been huge.

OK, they have messed up in a few areas, in terms of CCTV and personal privacy and security. I don't like that but since the Tories this has been a vast vast improvement.

It was the idiotic Tories who brought forward plans to scrap tuition fees too. The cheeky gits.

No they haven't but I do believe it is time for change, the tories 10 years ago and the tories now are completely different. I highly doubt they would mess up again. I am unsure who I am supporting at the moment, usually I just go for Lib Dem (in locals) but in a general election I want to vote either Labour or Tories, depends how the next year goes. (it is a year isnt it?)

I don't think there is any doubt that the Tories will come into power but they could take advantage of the situation and fill the pockets of their Banker friends in the city like they did last time.

Well we can only wait and see really, but I think they have re gained a lot of trust. Would be stupid to lose it, since it took 10 years to re gain it.

I can't agree with some of their policies though. Some of the stuff they've come out with recently has felt like a slap in the face.

If things don't improve, I think they will be in and out very quickly. But I think time is on their side. Economy will get better regardless of who is in power and the winner of the next election will reap the benefits.

What is this Labour Party you speak of?

Oh yeah, the party that has been out of office in all but name since 1979.

Don't believe the impostors.

No party will do a good job, because they're all the same really. Labour's the best of an awful bunch.

The Labour Party spent most of their time clearing up Tory mess! Without Labour there would be no minimum wage, NHS waiting lists would be worse, No devolution, schools would be worse, the most vunerable in society would be worse off, the recession would have been a lot worse and gone on a lot longer....basically we'd be worse off under the Tories!

Yeh they would mess up...the Tories disagreed with taking any action over the recession...ie/ bailing out banks, fiscal stimulus policies etc...they had no policies! We would be in a **** mess, theyre plans for schools are shoddy, they want to give tax relief to the rich (inheritance tax) and cut tax relief for middle income families....Fair?...No

The Labour Party has wasted billions of pounds of taxpayers money & they have taken us into two pointless wars. The Labour Party has blood on its hands.

The Tories are no different than they were 25 years ago.....Those foolish enough to give them power will learn that lesson with a heavy price......

Labour may be a tired spent Government but that does not make the Cameron Blair like spin a better option.....

Britain next year will begin a new phase of political and social disaster on a scale never before......

I don't think their latest policies have done them any favours in gaining support. With still about another 8 months to go the tide can easily turn ...
