I'll read the Daily Mail's 'Weekend' TV magazine each Saturday, very occasionally read the paper itself.
If I am going to read a paper I always buy The Sun. |

Sun and News of the World for my husband.
I read Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday. Week days I read Metro and Evening Standard as well - free - on the train. My friend suggested me to read quality papers, and tried but gave up as I have to use dictionary all the time.

I must remind people that The Daily Star is not really a newspaper and must be seen in the same light as Now or some other gossip and true story weekly. I would suggest that reading it is actually detrimental.
Much of the answers so far would tally with age. Younger people read tabloids as the main news agendas do not affect them so much and they are more interested in celebrities. The broadsheets are much better for sport. if you are a big sports fan and read a tabloid you may really like the Times/Guardian/Telegraph sports sections. |
