She probably is really 29, but she looks 17 years older. All that tanning has aged her skin and she's stick thin.

We don't know Corin so can't say for definate but I think it's something to do with her husband dying and her recent relationship with a woman.

Any partner's death can obviously cause stress and stress really does affect a person's appearance.

And her use of tanning, make-up etc could be a way of establishing a new persona following her new relationship with a woman. Just a theory, as Shabby presents herself with the make-up aorund the eyes and the peircing on her lip, and Rachel with her glamour, or Ben with his refined shirts etc. It's probably a way fo expressing herself through appearance

It's from all the sun damage to her skin, it really ages people. And her excessive makeup and eyebrows make her look older.
