Seems pretty obvious to me that there is some interest from Caoimhe in Shabby. If it wasn't for the fact that her boyfriend will be watching,i am convinced she would have some kind of involvement with Shabby.
She could just say i'm straight and not interested but i like you as a friend but she hasn't. Why? This seems odd???

This is more or less it.

Caoimhe is one of those straight girls that thinks it's cool, sexy to men, and gives her a personality to pretend that she likes the odd girl.

Now she has hooked Shabby she hasnt a clue what to do with her.

If she rejects her only friend in there and loses her, where has she got to go? She is hardly capable of doing an Ife, who is genuinly a nice girl and very personable.... she is stuck in the cold alone.

hence, she just skirts around the issue and strings Shabby along.
