I'm nor a massive JJ fan but in all fairness he has explained to Josie about the years of Bullying he suffered about his height and other traits he was made miserable about, he told her very clearly several times that as a result of those years, he can't stand to have people refer to his appearance. She knew this and I would think that, as his friend she wouldn't go there.
Last friday the hms were speculating about having new people join them. Josie made countless remarks to JJ and the other HMs about JJ running off with another Sheila. As soon as the newbies arrived Josie made up her mind that JJ would prefer Keely and from that time on she was taking pot-shots at him ... I think that as JJ (unbeknown to Josie) had the tree-task, Josie assumed JJ was sniffing after Keely. As soon as JJ mentioned the Crab eyes thing, she launched into a 'jusifiable' seperating from him before he split with her.

I thought she was a little cruel last night (tonight's HLs), but I can understand why she got so defensive. I can also see it from JJ's point of view as well. Don't get why some people aren't as sympathetic towards the situation. I guess it's because I've been in a similar situation myself so I can relate.

The guy obviously has deep rooted issues with girls, he would have walked if he could have, no doubts about it, when he thought there was no hope for him and Josie he was walking, I thought when he choose her to go to the Diary Room it was very brave, he is an open guy with people he cares about but he does hold back going that final bit
