Default laura just basically told them who are favourites outside
They was talking about big brother swapping 5 new housemates and she said "Imagine if they took josie john james mario and jj it would be the end of the show"
As soon as she said it mario grew a huge smile and become happy....now saying how happy he is to still be here....was saying he wanted to go 2 hours ago.

This is what annoys me. Just encourages them to change their behaviour. No surprise that JJ has been less aggressive since he got wind that he was coming across as angry and needed to chill out.

Clever Laura, she is a big Corin fan and has been cuddling up to Ben, but she deliberately left those two out when she mentioned favourites. Now those four can step on each other trying to win it, whilst Corin and Ben quietly close the distance

The other way to look at it is, imagine a football team going into a competition and saying to their teamamtes," guys look at how competitive the other team are", "look at the warmup they're doing, they're so obsessed and vain they are, i think we should make a complaint to UEFA because we are going to be so nice and friendly and just let them roll all over us and all they are doing is trying to win and bitch about us". Don't think so.

It would be much better to have new HMs who have been in isolation, or better still leave evictions till the latter half of the series so you don't need to put new ones in at all.

Well at least that gets him off Ben's back - all the little turd now has to do is to "suss out" (his words) how to deal with this bit of "information". He's now got what he considers his "clique" as the top four for the final, now all he has to do is make sure HE comes first rather than Josie or Mario, ie do a hatchet job on them but at the same time keep his fans onside. I'm sure his encyclopaedic knowledge of BB history will come in handy now.

That's why I think she is quite astute. The fact that JJ has glued himself to JJ1 and Josie is his way of getting as much air time as possible, he knows we've been forcefed their nomance for weeks now, so as long as he sticks close to them he will be guaranteed loads of camera shots.
