I'm getting angry
|
One of the most common comments I see in relation to Big Brother is that "xxxx has a game plan" and this is always stated as if having a game plan is a negative thing. This is something I have never understood about the publics reaction to BB in the UK. For me, going into the BB house without a game plan is borderline stupidity. The fact remains that BB contestants will always be broadly defined by the public based on their actions in the house. Nick will always be Nasty Nick, Helen will always be known for liking to blink and the list goes on and on. You would need your head read not to go in with some kind of plan
If you take BB over in the states, having a game plan is not only accepted, if its done well its respected. Over their developing a good game plan and seeing it through is equated with a HM deserving to win the show. In the UK its frowned on. I have to say having watched the US BB, it does make for interesting TV when the HM's are able to openly "be in it to win it" Another thing that is, in my opinion, unbelievable, is the amount of HM's who enter BB "Just for the experience". I means lets get real here, so nobody cares about winning it, money or fame? Of course they do, and who would blame them. If your going to have your personality put under a microscope why shouldn't their be a pay off ? So what exactly is this stigma about "Having a game plan"? - I say more power to you if you do, and if its a good enough plan that you end up winning, well then you deserve to win. It is a competition after all |

I agree. Nothing wrong with having a gameplan. In fact I think all BB;s have had gameplayers in. It is who has the best gameplan that will win, but so many of them play the wrong gameas their personality will get in the way, after all, a rotton egg is a rotton egg and no amount of cooking will make it good.
