Nothing incredible about it. He merely stated that in America you were more or less brought up to be prejudiced. As he is American he would know more about the subject than any of them. He also stated that you have to learn not to be prejudiced. Hardly makes him a racist just because he discusses the subject, the same as those around him had no reason to think what he said was so "god damn awful".
