SHE may be used to making an exhibition of herself – but yesterday was a real first for CHANTELLE TRAVELODGE as she went to a high-brow art show.

The bottle blonde Essex girl was dragged to a trendy gallery by Celeb BB boyfriend PRESTON.

The ORDINARY BOYS frontman wanted to show the dizzy air-head a bit of culture so he took her to White Cube in London’s achingly-cool Hoxton to check out some proper pictures.

The only ones Chantelle is used to are those spread across the pages of glossy magazines.

But Preston was determined to educate his new girl so he took her to an exhibition of work by Brit Art combo GILBERT and GEORGE, oddball artists and performers famed for pushing the boundaries of taste.

A source said: “They arrived on their own and Preston was showing Chantelle around. At one stage he was overheard whispering to her, ‘they’re really famous artists you know.’ ”

Preston didn’t have a few hundred grand to spare to buy originals, but did take home three £5 posters, leaving the change from his £20 note as a tip.

He bought one showing G & G on either side of a crucifix with the line underneath Was Jesus Heterosexual? — the title of the exhibition.

Hard-up Preston’s fortunes could be about to change, though.

The Ordinary Boys are about to sign a big deal with Universal Records after being dropped by Warner.









A record company mole told me: “Warner decided not to renew their contract before Preston went into Big Brother.

“Of course, he’s become famous now and other companies have been sniffing around.

“Now Universal have swooped in with a good offer. The band are very excited.”

I feel an Ordinary Boys duet with Chantelle coming on . . . please, spare a thought for us all.
