Don't want to spoil the fun ..................
![]() But if you are going to post up pics, could you please do this by using a direct link to the site that the pic appears on, rather than saving it to your PC and then uploading it. Members uploading pics to the Forum uses up a lot of bandwidth, which the owner has to pay for. If you could only use this facility when it's not possible to direct link to the pic, it would be much appreciated. ![]() If anyone's not sure how to direct link to a pic, I'll try to give you step-by-step instructions. ![]() |

OK, scooby - I'lll try and explain.
1. Find the picture or graphic you want to post, either direct from a website or from Google images. 2. Right mouse click on the image and seleect 'Properties' - a box should pop up on your screen. 3. Highlight the address (URL) of the image, then right mouse click again and select 'copy'. 4. Close the box. 5. Start your post and, when you want to insert the image, click on the little icon that looks like a paint palette in front of a PC screen. 6. A little box should pop up asking you to insert the URL address of the image - right mouse click and select 'paste'. Then click OK. ![]() The URL address should then show up in between brackets. Then when you click 'Post Reply' the image should show up! Give it a try! Once you get the hang of it it's actually simpler than saving the image to your PC and then uploading it - honest! ![]() |
