Also the scene in Children of Men where Theo and Kee are walking through everyone with the baby screaming, and the battle and everything just stops, and everyone goes silent; amazing scene. |

Look, I'm not convinced that the whole film is a classic, but the opening attack on Omaha beach is just one of the greatest pieces of filmmaking I've ever seen. And I saw it on the big screen. |

~This is a pile of poo to many but this is one of the most important scenes of Stone's movie and he reveals it beautifully. I don't care if you don't agree with his conclusions- you have to be drawn to it at this stage if you've watched it through. One of the greatest made flicks I've ever seen, even if the data included is possibly sceptical. |
