... what would you do? Leave everything as it is? Want to find your 'natural' parents? Ignore it? Be upset/happy? Other?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

be a bit freaked out, but be thankful for having an adopted mum who cares about me. I think the hunting-down-your-natural-birthparents element would be more of a curiosity than a necessity.

I think I'd be okay, it wouldn't change much for me.

I used to fantasize about it given my background but wouldn't want contact I don't think. I 'found' my half brother as a kid and was let down and never saw him again. Taught me it's no fairytail

Be quite shocked as I'm the splitting image of both my parents. Besides that I have no clue, they're my family,I wouldn't want another one.

well I'd probably be a bit annoyed that they waited till I was 32 to tell me for a start!

Being adopted wouldn't bother me since the people who were good enough to choose me and bring me up I would consider to be my parents. However, I would want to track down my biological parents for very practical reasons, such as family medical history, genetic disorders etc. I would also be curious about my family's ancestry as genealogy has always been a hobby of mine.

oh fack off

It would upset me a lot I think, but not in the sense that I'm upset they didn't tell me sooner...upset because they're not my real parents.
Unsure on whether I'd want to find my real parents or not, I probably would...but I'm more than happy with the ones I have at the moment. |

I'd be shocked, but I'd love my family just as much as I' ve always done, so it wouldn't really change much. I think trying to find out who your natural parents are is quite a natural thing to do, out of curiosity if nothing else..
I found out a while ago that I have a half sister somewhere and although I don't really feel the need to find her, I would be interested to see if she is anything like my sister or me.

most people who go through with a pregnancy only to give the baby up for adoption are just the opposite and probably have a good reason.

I disagree. sometimes I think it makes them a better person. Like say a girl was raped, instead of aborting the baby she keeps it and gives it to a family who will manage to look after it better.
