Default Tekken...The Movie?

I quite like the fact that Namco's doing it themselves although it won't be good but I'll give it a watch, hopefully it's as entertainingly bad as the Live Action one was. The trailer for that fun little trainwreck is in the spoiler if you want a good chortle.

Rented it, it's not bad.

EDIT: never mind I was talking about the live action one

Wasn't there a fairly popular anime movie of Tekken in the late 90's?

Yeah, there's been a few attempts at Tekken, the CGI looks as though it could be somewhat fun though. I did enjoy the Tekken 6 Story mode and this seems quite inspired by that so I'm guessing it's gonna be very braindead but pretty.

I think I just orgasmed a little.

I waited 5 whole years for that live action movie and it sucked beyond belief. Almost totally. The only feature I liked was the look of some characters but not all of them. The 1998 anime movie was more true to the story of the games. As it's got characters from the later games I'm thinking this one still won't be the movie I'm 100% after BUT it does finally feature Devil and could be worth the watch!

Looks kinda pointless, and seems a rip off of quite a few things. Films like Mortal Kombat (First one) And Street Fighter worked well cos they already had great backing stories

Street Fighter? GREAT STORY?! What drugs have you been huffing and do you care to share?

Mk has a good lore though and the film remains my favourite game film although that's not saying much in the long run. This new Tekken's being made by the team behind the games so it's gonna be true-er to the game then most.

Yeah the anime was cool, I used to love the live action film too as a child but then I watched it about 3 years back and I realised that it was god awful
