Default How to miss the housemates less...

Maybe the best was to miss them less and bring ourselves down from Big Brother is to associate them in our minds with day-to-day things we do.

My suggestion is that every time you crack open the top of a boiled egg, think of how PJ treated Jade that morning and imagine the egg is PJ (after all there is some resemblance).

Anyone have suggestions to wean us of the other housemates?

Chopping mushrooms will bring Spanky to mind(fungus and all that)

Just eating alone will let us reminisce of Alison

And of course the smell of crispy danish bacon will remind us of Jade(sorry)

Actually, neither do I but don't tell anyone!

You could do a quick Sunita impersonation every time you are not enjoying a party and have to leave early!

You could, every time you go to a party or wedding where you don't know anyone, do the Jonny and Kate dance

Every time you have to clean the bathroom out, you can moan for a few moments then burst into "That's the way I like it". Do NOT "burst" into the shower!!!!!!

I understand from the mad young nurses etc that I work with that the Jonny and Kate dance was de rigeur in the clubs last weekend, and furthermore, it reaches parts that other dances do not reach.

They were all clutching their abdominal muscles and limping.
In fact it looked a bit like the Michael Jackson 'Thriller' video at shift change as they slithered and hobbled up the ward.

I'm so sad I've even started planning how many hours I'll cram in next year when I start training

I am a nurse Katerules, but not working shifts anymore. I do a Mon-Fri specialist practitioner job. No more details in case I am sussed out!!!

I wouldn't think you will get much choice on shifts in training, although the first part has lots of study, and tends to be decent hours.

When you are on shifts they are usually 7 till 3ish, 2.30 till 10ish or nights!

Think of all the young doctors though!!

There are compensations, and it's a great profession.

We need more!!! Especially children's nurses!!

Recruitment speech over!

For the first year we are doing just morning and afternoon shifts...it's split 50/50 with academic stuff...Is it 9.00 till 3.30 when we are doing the academic stuff in classrooms just like school?Y'see they never tell us any of this I've worked out that I'll watch all BBLb's(get them taped)and all C4 shows(taped when needed)so that'll make an hour each day..also come home after morning shift, have a few hours rest and then tune in for a good few hours at night...afternoon shift and I'll have morning to watch it

I cant believe how sad I am..sometimes I curse the person who came up with the idea. How many hours a day of BB do you cram in ROB?

I'm really looking forwarded to starting in September though,it looks good fun and very rewarding

Anyway, back to the subject:

Remember Lynne as follows: If you walk in on someone who forgot to lock the toilet door, have a go at them in a Scottish accent!

I think that was the first real quarrel in the house wasnt it?lynne and peej,I remember watching it for the 1st few days and it was so obvious they were ALL acting to the cameras and being very false. But after about 3 days the bitching started and I think it became the best BB yet

We could look at the many faces of big ben to remind us of adele

If you're a man having an off day, and just boring everyone, stay indoors wearing sunglasses and a stupid green bandana. Apparently the girls love all that! Two of them did, anyway!

Apologies to anyone who is having withdrawal symptoms - there are some good clinics around, but I WONT BE MISSING ANY OF THEM. This year I just didnt connect with any of them.

I will be missing Dermot on BBLB, always made a habit of watching that - he was the best bit of BB3.

I suppose if you really want a reminder you could get the Domestos out and do a bit of cleaning - any volunteers can do my bathroom any time, its a job I hate and if it helps someone get over BB3 then who am I to stand in their way.
