Resident Evil: Raccoon City has been rumored for quite some time now, and according to StickSkills, the latest OXM has full coverage.

Raccoon City will take place in 1998 –during the initial Raccoon City outbreak– and star 4 new characters to the series. Vector, Beltway, Bertha, and Spectre are all members of the Umbrella Security Services Squad. Their goal is to retrieve evidence of Umbrella’s no-good and kill all survivors. Their opposition will be the U.S. Special Forces and all of Umbrella’s B.O.W. creations. The ability to “change Resident Evil history” is also a part of the game. Important characters such as Leon Kennedy will be faced with the option to kill. The game will of course be four player co-op online with each character having unique skills and story objective.

A team based Resident Evil is finally coming. While it may not be the type of game the Outbreak campaign wanted, this will surely please many people. The game is expected to arrive this Fall. We’ll keep you updated with any new updates.
